Senator JD Vance did a 17 minute interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper that was the most hostile interview I’ve seen Vance do this election season.

They sparred over Trump’s terminology using “the enemy within”, with Vance pointing out that Tapper was conflating separate quotes by Trump to make it sound like he wanted to use the military to go after normal Americans.

The same with John Kelly. Tapper kept defending Kelly while Vance insisted that Kelly’s problem with Trump only came after he had a falling out with Trump and got fired.

Tapper was so hostile at defending his attacks that Vance, at times, had to demand that he be allowed to answer the question.

Honestly though, JD Vance was absolutely amazing and brilliant in the interview and clearly won the day in my opinion.
