NextImg:Even a close confidant of Kamala won’t say much about her policies and Ben Shapiro reacts with great response – The Right Scoop

Even the people close to Kamala refuse to define her when it comes to her policies.

Real Clear Politics caught up with a confidant of Kamala and asked her if the candidate was tracking to the center after jettisoning her more leftist policies.

But Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto wouldn’t say much, emphasizing how she can only speak from ‘her perspective’ about Kamala and just said they need to be flexible when it comes to solving the problems of this country:

Before the vice presidency, Harris was considered the most progressive Democrat in the Senate. But as she prepared to accept the Democratic nomination, her campaign quietly jettisoned her more liberal proposals such as calls to ban fracking, decriminalize border crossings, and force gun buy-backs. Was the candidate tacking to the center? Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, a confidant of the vice president, told RealClearPolitics that she could only speak from “my perspective” but “we need to continue to ensure that we are flexible when it comes to solving the problems of this country.”

Of course she’s tracking to the center because she wants to get elected. But as soon as she wins she’s going back to the hard left, because that’s who she is.

Ben Shapiro responded to this with a great line:

“You’ll have to pass the Kamala to find out what’s in it”

That is the single best line I’ve heard to describe her candidacy and it’s accurate. Just look at her speech last night, which was nothing more than a bunch of cliches and no substance. She doesn’t want people to really know what she’ll do because if she told them, they wouldn’t elect her.
