Trey Gowdy was on Fox News this afternoon during the breaking coverage of the trans-terrorist shooting at a Catholic Church in Minneapolis, and suggested that gun control is the answer to stopping these school shootings.

Gowdy said that the only way to prevent school shootings like this is to identify the shooter beforehand or keep the guns out of their hands. Actually, that’s not true. Armed and trained security guards works too! I’m not sure what the situation was this morning, but having one or two security guards might have prevented this from ever happening in the first place.

Secondly, if he’s referring to gun control, how does he suggest keeping them from owning guns? The shooter was in his 20s and didn’t have a criminal record. It was legal for him to buy. Is he suggesting we make it more difficult for people to own firearms?

Lastly, and more importantly, the shooter was a transgender pretender in a city and state that condones transgenderism and has even made itself a sanctuary for this mental illness. I think that’s a big part of the conversation we should be having…
