Richard Porter, a Republican National Committeeman from Illinois, confronted Matt Gaetz at the RNC as he was being a jerk (to put it nicely) to former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

Gaetz interrupted McCarthy while he was doing an interview, derisively asking him when was his speaking slot during the RNC. He then yelled at McCarthy saying “you’d get booed off the stage.”

That’s when Porter confronted Gaetz and said “shut up, Gaetz” and said “why do you have to be an asshole?”

Gaetz responded “Dude I don’t even know who you are.”

Porter responded “It doesn’t f***ing matter who I am. Don’t be an asshole. You’re an asshole.”

Gaetz then scurried away.
