In a disgusting display, CNN just went all in comparing what happened in South Korea this morning, with the institution of martial law and soldiers forcing their way into the parliament building, to Democrat fears about President-elect Trump. CNN reporter MJ Lee even falsely accused Trump once again of saying he would use the military against his political enemies to bolster the comparison.
Lee said “We around the table should talk about why this should be an important thing for America to pay attention to, particularly given that Donald Trump is about to be president in a number of weeks – somebody who has said he wants to use the military to go after his own enemies.”
Othes at the table agreed, saying “I think this is something that people are scared about, or that Democrats are scared about when they think about Trump’s return.”
Here’s the video via Colin Rugg:
Trump never said he would use the military against his own enemies. He was referring to the potential for massive riots in some cities in response to the election and saying he would use the military to quell those riots.
And the comparisons to January 6th are absurd. First of all, that was a riot by protesters and not a threat to democracy. Secondly what happened today in Seoul was actual soldiers with guns entering their parliament building because they were ordered to do so via a martial law decree. President Trump has never even remotely suggested something like this and these leftists on CNN are once again showing their true colors.
MJ Lee is CNN’s White House correspondent and she’s already begun her attacks on Trump’s presidency before he’s even taken office. She should be fired by CNN, or at the very least removed from the White House press room.
