A woman was arrested this week outside Mar-a-lago, after driving up to the gate and claiming she had an ‘urgent message’ for President Trump.
Secret Service officials found firearms in her vehicle and she was charged with having a suspended license and for having an expired vehicle registration:
The woman has now had her first court appearance:
A woman who was arrested Monday outside of Mar-a-Lago had driven up to a gate and told the U.S. Secret Service that she urgently needed to tell something to President Donald Trump, according to Palm Beach police records.
Caroline Shaw, 49, faces charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to register a vehicle, the Palm Beach Police Department noted in her arrest report. She has since pleaded not guilty to the charges, records show.
Police responded around 10 p.m. as the Secret Service said Shaw had approached the south gate of Mar-a-Lago “stating she had an urgent message for the President of the United States,” according to a probable cause affidavit.
Secret Service and Palm Beach deputies were already searching Shaw’s van when the reporting officer arrived, noting she had allegedly followed up her request to speak to Trump by telling his agents that there were firearms in the vehicle.
At Shaw’s first appearance in court Tuesday, a judge gave her a $2,000 bond and ordered that she have no contact with Trump or any Trump property. She had not posted bond at the time of this report.
The crazies sure come out of the woodwork for Trump. Good grief.
