President Trump spoke to reporters a few minutes ago before getting on Air Force One and heading to the Middle East to sign the new peace agreement.

Even if the peace agreement were to collapse in two weeks, if Trump gets the hostages home then this is all worth it. That alone would be a huge accomplishment.

As you know, I have concerns about this deal both in the short term and the long term. I am worried that Hamas won’t surrender all the hostages, or may do something horrific to them before releasing them. But I am also concerned about the Gaza peacekeeping ruling body being infiltrated by more Muslim Brotherhood terrorists and turning Gaza back into a terrorist state. This, assuming Hamas demilitarizes and allows this peacekeeping force to run Gaza, which is also a big question mark.

So we’ll see how all this plays out, but hopefully this all goes very well for Trump.
