White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller said today that President Trump is considering suspending Habeas Corpus, which is in line with the Constitution, if the courts don’t begin abiding by the law when it comes to immigration cases.
Miller explains that Congress passed a law stripping Article 3 courts from jurisdiction over immigration cases:
He’s absolutely right to suggest that we have been invaded and halting Habeas Corpus, something I’m sure Trump doesn’t want to do lightly, may be necessary to keep the courts from continually trying to block him from deporting illegals.
