Runaway Texas Democrat James Talarico actually claimed today that state Republicans are the ones holding up the flood assistance bill, which is very much needed by flood victims.

The ABC interviewer actually did a fair job in questioning Talarico about this:

This is patently absurd because Democrats are the ones who abandoned the state to deny Republicans a quorum, which is why the flood assistance bill is being held up. They are the ones putting politics over helping the victims of the horrific floods that we saw last month.

If this is the best they can do, Democrats are going to fail hard.
