Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has just created a video to both the American Warfighter and the taxpayer to explain what he’s doing at the Department of Defense, specifically with DOGE and these so-called budget ‘cuts’, which he says aren’t cuts at all, and the probationary workforce layoffs.

Hegseth DOGE will have broad access to the Pentagon, with normal safeguards on classified information, to go through and eliminate waste, fraud and abuse. And he welcomes it.

Hegseth also explains that what the media are calling ‘cuts’ to DOD budget is really just a repurposing of funds in the wreckless Biden budget he inherited to support the president’s agenda.

And lastly, Hegseth is working to eliminate unnecessary employees in the probationary workforce.
