Governor Gavin Newsom has just said that he is surging state law enforcement to cities in California over their rampant crime problem.

Amazing. Just yesterday we saw Mayor Bowser praising Trump’s surge in DC and touting the tremendous difference it has made. And now Newsom, after weeks of saying crime is fine in California, is deciding to tackle crime?

Yeah, I think what this is really about is that Democrats have finally realized they are on the wrong side of this crime issue and that Trump is winning on it. They know if they don’t do something about crime and just let Trump do it for them, then Trump and Republicans will win big in next year’s House and Senate elections.
