President Trump announced a few minutes ago that both the House and Senate are working on a temporary continuing resolution to keep the government funded while they try and get their budget done.

Here’s what he said:

“As usual, Sleepy Joe Biden left us a total MESS. The Budget from last YEAR is still not done. We are working very hard with the House and Senate to pass a clean, temporary government funding Bill (“CR”). Let’s get it done!”

There’s a government shutdown potentially coming on March 14, so I expect they’ll pass this temporary CR to give them time to finish the budget, since it’s probably going to take a while.
