President Trump has called on Ukraine’s President Zelenksyy to agree to a meeting in Turkey on Thursday with Russian President Putin in order to try and negotiate a end to the war.

But, Trump says, he doubts Ukraine even wants to make a deal with Putin, and urges them to “HAVE THE MEETING NOW”:

President Putin of Russia doesn’t want to have a Cease Fire Agreement with Ukraine, but rather wants to meet on Thursday, in Turkey, to negotiate a possible end to the BLOODBATH. Ukraine should agree to this, IMMEDIATELY. At least they will be able to determine whether or not a deal is possible, and if it is not, European leaders, and the U.S., will know where everything stands, and can proceed accordingly!

I’m starting to doubt that Ukraine will make a deal with Putin, who’s too busy celebrating the Victory of World War ll, which could not have been won (not even close!) without the United States of America. HAVE THE MEETING, NOW!!!

It sounds like Trump is okay with a meeting with Putin in Turkey instead of the 30-day ceasefire that he’s pushing for, and I think that’s wise. And while he’s suspicious that Ukraine won’t make a deal with Putin, I am suspicious of Putin, that he’s making gestures for peace but will have these high demands that Ukraine would never agree to because he would rather take it by conquest than accept a peace deal.

So we’ll see where this goes, but I’m not sure either really wants peace, as they are both being dragged kicking and screaming to the negotiating table.
