Former President Trump just backed Speaker Johnson after the FISA vote today and despite Majorie Taylor Greene’s opposition.

Here’s what Trump said:

“We’re getting along very well with the speaker. And I get along very well with Marjorie. We have a Speaker. He was voted in, and it was a complicated process. And I think very it’s not not an easy situation for any Speaker. I think he’s doing a very good job. He’s doing about good, as you’re going to do. And I’m sure that Marjorie understands that.”

I wonder if MTG will suddenly back off from her opposition to Speaker Johnson now that Trump has given him a vote of confidence. I guess we’ll see.
