Three people are dead after a sniper opened fire on an ICE facility in Dallas, Texas, this morning. One of those dead is the sniper, who killed himself when ICE agents were approaching to stop him.

He killed two detainees at the facility.

A shooting at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in northwest Dallas has reportedly left two ICE detainees killed, one injured, and the shooter dead by suicide, police sources told WFAA.

Police sources told Fox 4 in Dallas that the suspect was a sniper was armed with a rifle, and identified him as a white man who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head while agents were approaching.

Police responded to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday at 8101 North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, off Interstate 35E.

Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons confirmed the shooting during an interview on CNN.

The shooter was found dead on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney’s office.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem tweeted an earlier update:

“There was a shooting this morning at the Dallas @Ice gov Detention Facility. Details are still emerging but we can confirm there were multiple injuries and fatalities.

“The shooter is deceased by a self-inflicted gun shot wound.

“While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families.”

Probably another violent leftist acting on the terrible rhetoric from those on the left. I’ll let you know when the shooter is identified.

 
UPDATE: Possible shooter identified, with Karol Markowicz reporting that he’s 29-year-old Joshua Jahn.
