We told you this morning that President Trump had appealed to the Supreme Court regarding the MS-13 gang leader, who they had already deported and taken to El Salvador. The lower courts – specifically two Obama judges – had rule that Kilmar Abrego Garcia had to be returned to the US.

Just a little while ago Chief John Roberts put the kibosh on those lower court rulings, granting Trump’s request for a stay:

I’m pleasantly surprised that Roberts did the right thing here and granted this stay. The lower courts didn’t have jurisdiction any longer and, despite how the MSM was characterizing Garcia as a ‘family man’, he’s a violent gangbanger and a human trafficker, among other things. He is where he belongs.
