Last night Speaker McCarthy opened the floodgates when he suggested the House would need to convene an impeachment inquiry to uncover the fuller evidence on the crimes of Joe Biden.

Today reporters are chomping at the bit to get McCarthy to justify why he even needs an impeachment inquiry and he’s happy to oblige them.

I love this. Yes, it’s someone mundane to hear McCarthy continually go through what we all know is absolutely necessary, but this is exactly what needs to happen and he’s clearly not backing away from his assertion that an impeachment inquiry is necessary.

And every Republican needs to do the exact same thing when they are asked about it by reporters.
