Fox News reporter Chad Pergram is reporting that Speaker Johnson believes they are about to pass the One Big, Beautiful Bill, saying “I believe we are going to land this airplane.”

Here’s what he said via Pergram:

Johnson: The plan is to move forward as, as we expected…I think we’re in a very good place. I think that, all of our colleagues here will, really liked his final product. And I think we’re going to move forward. The plan is to reconvene rule…we will have a manager’s amendment presented that’ll have just some of these minor details. You will all be surprised. There’s not much change in here because the underlying product we thought was so, so, well done. So we will do that and move that through the rules. We’ll decide whether the vote will be tonight. Passage of the rule followed by final passage on the bill or tomorrow morning. And, we’re excited. I believe we are going to land this airplane.

So, tonight or tomorrow. We’ll see. I hope he’s right.
