Secretary of State Marco Rubio called out this morning a Polish minister for “making things up” regarding a tweet from Elon Musk about Starlink and Ukraine.

To go back to the very beginning of this, a massive Ukraine flag was held by protesters outside the White House. Someone asked who paid for this flag and Senator Mike Lee said ‘not another penny to Ukraine’, with the suggestion that our tax payer dollars paid for it.

Musk responded “Place sanctions on the top 10 Ukrainian oligarchs, especially the ones with mansions in Monaco, and this will stop immediately… ”

Someone told Musk that he should stop pretending that Putin isn’t the aggressor….to which Musk replied…

“I literally challenged Putin to one on one physical combat over Ukraine and my Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army. Their entire front line would collapse if I turned it off.

What I am sickened by is years of slaughter in a stalemate that Ukraine will inevitably lose. Anyone who really cares, really thinks and really understands wants the meat grinder to stop.

And now we are back the present, where a Polish minister claimed Musk threatened to turn Starlink off in his comments above:

 
But Marco Rubio quickly put an end to this lie because Musk never threatened anything. Rubio said:

“Just making things up. No one has made any threats about cutting Ukraine off from Starlink.

And say thank you because without Starlink Ukraine would have lost this war long ago and Russians would be on the border with Poland right now

Musk quickly backed Rubio up, saying he’s absolutely correct:

I like how quickly Rubio put an end to this. That’s how it should be.
