RNC Chairman Michael Whatley says several Georgia counties, including Fulton county, are “playing fast and loose with election law” by refusing to allow observers to watch the drop boxes.
He also says these four counties “decided at the last minute to accept ballots over the weekend”, which is against the law:
Democrat officials in Georgia are playing fast and loose with election law.
Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties decided at the last minute to accept ballots over the weekend — which disregards the law. They have also failed to let our poll observers in to watch the process. The Secretary of State has issued guidance to allow Republican poll watchers in but local officials REFUSE.
Our election integrity operation has filed a lawsuit. Georgia voters demand that the state and courts ensure that these reckless counties administer fair, transparent, and secure elections. Anything less undermines public trust.
Kylie Jane Kremer reports that “Republicans did NOT win the hearing this morning in Fulton County to shut down extra weekend hours to drop off ballots despite it being in direct violation of the law.”
Cleta Mitchell was on with Steve Bannon and said the above, adding that this is a Democrat judge ruling against them. Mitchell said the judge is allowing Fulton County to hire 99% Democrat poll watches even though that’s against the law.
Below is the email that Fulton county sent out saying that poll watchers are not allowed in the building to watch the drop boxes and to not let them in:
Here is the email/letter Democrats put out not allowing people to watch the drop boxes in Fulton County, which is in violation of the law & against Judge Kevin Farmer’s ruling today. We need to show up & watch what is going on!! What do they have to hide???
[UPDATE]
RNC Chairman provides a positive update saying that all four counties are now allowing our poll watchers into the building:
“We will continue our aggressive efforts to enforce Georgia law and protect the vote.”
