NextImg:BREAKING REPORT: Where are the names being considered for Trump’s Attorney General – The Right Scoop

The Daily Wire is reporting several names they say are being considered by President-elect Trump to serve as the top law enforcement officer in the nation, the job of Attorney General.

Here’s the names they say are being considered.

⭐️Attorney Mark Paoletta, who served in the Trump administration as chief counsel and assistant to Vice President Mike Pence before moving to general counsel of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

⭐️John Ratcliffe, who “served as Trump’s Director of National Intelligence for a year at the end of the president’s first term.”

⭐️Utah Senator Mike Lee, who has been considered for a job on the Supreme Court in the past by President Trump.

⭐️Judge Aileen Cannon, who ABC News reported appeared on a Trump ream document as a potential attorney general pick last month.

⭐️Matthew Whitaker, who served a sting as Acting Attorney General during Trump’s first term.

⭐️Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, who has made a name for himself as he’s been fighting and winning against the Biden administration’s policies.

I also believe Mike Lee is happy in the US Senate, but that’s always subject to change after someone is officially asked.

As far as the other names on the list, I’ll just say that I trust Trump to choose the right person for the job. He’s done a great job so far and he certainly knows what he’s doing ahead of his second term. At the most basic level, it must be someone who will absolutely clean house and return the DOJ to it’s now-lost reputation as being fair and impartial. That’s a massive job and it will likely take longer than four years, but it must be done.
