It’s just being reported by Reuters that the assessment of the Trump administration is that Iran is about to retaliate against the US for the destruction of their nuclear plants, which happened over the weekend.

Here’s the news via two reporters:

BREAKING – U.S. assesses high risk of Iranian retaliation against U.S. forces soon, U.S. still pursuing diplomatic resolution, U.S. officials tell me and Idrees Ali. One of the officials says retaliation could come in the next day or two.

I’m sure the Trump administration is ready for whatever Iran dishes out, but that doesn’t mean they won’t at least partially succeed, just like they have in Israel with their missile strikes. But even if they only succeed a little, President Trump will make them live to regret it.

I hope they don’t retaliate – not because I want them to pursue things diplomatically, but because I just don’t want to see things escalate between the US and Iran. They are stubborn Islamo-Nazis and I fear this could escalate into something worse for our troops.
