President Trump just made a big threat against Russia in order to try and get President Vladimir Putin to accept a ceasefire on the battlefield.

He threatened to issue large scale Banking Sanctions, Sanctions, and Tariffs on Russia.

Here’s what he said:

Based on the fact that Russia is absolutely “pounding” Ukraine on the battlefield right now, I am strongly considering large scale Banking Sanctions, Sanctions, and Tariffs on Russia until a Cease Fire and FINAL SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT ON PEACE IS REACHED. To Russia and Ukraine, get to the table right now, before it is too late. Thank you!!!

This is probably music to President Zelenskyy’s ears. We’ll see if this threat actually gets Putin’s attention. I kind of doubt it will, which means President Trump will have to carry out his threat and institute these measures.
