President Trump addressed some of the questions about his Gaza takeover proposal this morning by explaining a bit more about how it would work.

Trump said the US wouldn’t take over Gaza until all the fighting was complete and the Palestinians had already been relocated to safer areas. And Gaza would be given to the US by Israel.

Trump adds “No soldiers by the U.S. would be needed!” for any of this to happen.

Here’s what he said:

The Gaza Strip would be turned over to the United States by Israel at the conclusion of fighting. The Palestinians, people like Chuck Schumer, would have already been resettled in far safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes, in the region. They would actually have a chance to be happy, safe, and free. The U.S., working with great development teams from all over the World, would slowly and carefully begin the construction of what would become one of the greatest and most spectacular developments of its kind on Earth. No soldiers by the U.S. would be needed! Stability for the region would reign!!!

That should allay some concerns about the proposal. But Democrats won’t care about any of this. They will still claim Trump is committing genocide or that he wants to enrich himself with a beachfront property for a Trump resort or something.
