Rep. Matt Gaetz apparently isn’t happy with the ‘baby step’ impeachment inquiry that Kevin McCarthy began today and is now threatening to vote to vacate the Speaker.

He details far more that he’s unhappy with than just the impeachment inquiry, but he gets to that just before the 3 minute mark. What he’s demanding is actual impeachment and not an ‘inquiry’:

Does Gaetz feel that Speaker McCarthy can just waive his magic wand and get all the votes needed for an impeachment when he doesn’t even have enough votes for an inquiry? I’m sorry, but he’s just not going to win this battle when he’s putting the cart before the horse.

Before Democrats began their phony impeachment of Trump, they still began an inquiry just like McCarthy is doing now. It’s just part of the process and Gaetz needs to chill out and let McCarthy get this going the right way. Otherwise he’ll never get the votes for impeachment in the House.
