The irresponsible and corrupt Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass just threw her fire chief under the bus and terminated her.

She blamed LAFD Chief Kristin Crowley for no letting her know about the fire risk, and said she sent firefighters home the morning the Palisades fire began.

“Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass just announced she has fired LAFD Chief Kristin Crowley, effective immediately, and will be holding a press conference within the hour.

Bass: “We know that 1,000 firefighters that could have been on duty on the morning the fires broke out were instead sent home on Chief Crowley’s watch.”

Bass has also blamed Crowley for not warning her about an imminent fire risk.”

This is exactly right.

But really, I think Crowley only got fired for admitting the truth about the city failing the fire department and the community. She royally pissed off Mayor Bass when she said that.

Bass should be the one getting kicked to the curb and hopefully the voters will do that next time around.
