Israel has just released footage of their Air Force shooting down a cruise missile that was presumably launched from the Houthis in Yemen.
Below is the video:
They also released video of their Arrow system taking out another missile, presumably from Yemen:
This is what the IDF wrote about these encounters (translated from Hebrew):
In recent days, a cruise missile was detected by the control and detection systems of the Air Force, which was launched from the southeast towards the airspace of the State of Israel. The systems followed the trajectory of the cruise missile and launched fighter jets from the “Adir” formation, which successfully intercepted it.
Later that day, the Air Force intercepted a surface-to-surface missile in the area of the Red Sea by the long-range defense system “Hatz” (Arrow).
The Air Force personnel in defense and attack are constantly busy planning and managing the defense response and are prepared for any threat in any area. At the same time, the active defense against missiles is part of the defense’s complete response, which is also based on the directives of the Home Front Command.
