Governor DeSantis just called out his own Republican supermajority in the Florida House for shutting down debate about illegal immigration from state officials before them.

DeSantis writes: “Crazy to see the GOP supermajority in the House shut down discussion about illegal immigration. Members tell voters during their campaigns that they will fight illegal immigration but then get into office and stymie our agency heads who advocate doing something about it.”

Wow, talk about a witch with a capital B. All this official did was barely mention it and she comes down on him hard. If she’d let him say his few sentences he’d have probably been done. But as soon as she heard the words ‘illegal immigration’ she shut him down.

What is up with this Republican majority in the Floria legislature? They’ve already hit back at DeSantis for calling a special session to help expedite Trump’s plans for mass deportations and now just the mere mention of the words ‘illegal immigration’ draws their wrath. Unreal.
