Last week we told you that a federal judge blasted the Biden administration for what he deemed an ‘Orwellian’ level of censorship and banned them from contacting Big Tech companies for the purposes of getting posts taken down.

It was a ton of agencies that fell under the ban and the government has since made a motion for the injunction to be stayed.

Now the judge has denied the motion and the ban stays in place:

The Judge said his ban “only prohibits something the Defendants have no legal right to do — contacting social media companies for the purpose of urging, encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any manner, the removal, deletion, suppression, or reduction of content containing protected free speech posted on social-media platforms. It also contains numerous exceptions. Therefore, for the reasons set forth herein, The Defendants’ Motion to Stay is DENIED.”

I’m sure they’ll appeal this to a higher judge so we’ll let you know how that goes…
