It was just revealed that another RINO is running for an open seat the US Senate with Democrat Ben Cardin retiring.
According to Politico, “former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is launching a Senate bid, according to a person familiar with the matter.”
They write “the anti-Trump Republican is expected to file for the open Senate seat on Friday, the last day of the filing deadline.”
I’m all for fighting to win a seat being vacated by a retiring Democrat. But even if Hogan can win in a blue state, I don’t look forward to him being in the Senate because he’d undoubtedly be another Mitt Romney style Republican who would vote with Democrats far more than he should.
Sure, it might give us the majority and that means something – but not as much as it should given the terrible Republican leadership we have in the Senate.
