President Trump just made a big announcement about Antifa tonight, saying he’s going to designate them as a major terrorist organization and “strongly recommend” their funders be investigated.

Here’s what he wrote:

I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Like so many things Trump is doing anew, this is long overdue. Antifa is nothing but a violent and radical leftwing organization that needs to be shut down. I hope the FBI commits a lot of resources to making this happen.
