Joe Biden’s campaign responded to George Clooney’s op-ed today, which called for Biden to drop out of the race, by issuing an absurd attack on Clooney.

This wasn’t an official response, per se, but it was what one campaign official told this CNN reporter:

The Biden official told this CNN reporter that Clooney left the fundraiser three hours early, suggesting that Biden’s stamina is better than Clooney’s because he stayed at the fundraiser the full time.

How absurd and petty. Jake Tapper’s ‘okay’ pretty much says it all.
