Hey Dana, if you did the second thing more then maybe we wouldn’t think the first one, chief.
CNN’s Dana Bash on Monday got huffy when President Donald Trump said at his joint presser with El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele that the network doesn’t report the facts and statistics accurately on things like immigration because “I think they hate our country, actually.”
A short time later, Bash interrupted the presser to complain. Not just about the comment but about how it was a long press conference, poor thing.
But on the fact that they don’t report the facts, she said: “CNN does not hate our country. That should go without saying.”
Well, Dana, it SHOULD be the case that it goes without saying the press who enjoy prestige, power, wealth, safety, and comfort in this country don’t hate this country. It SHOULD! But it doesn’t. And that? That’s on y’all, CNN. MSNBC. New York Times. Do regular Americans think you hate them?
YES, DUMMY. BECAUSE THAT’S HOW YOU ACT. HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THIS?
I absolutely love how she has the audacity to say “I want to focus on the news that we heard.”
Oh yeah? Try that then. Try doing the news. Maybe then people won’t think that you … well, you know.
Talk amongst yourselves.
