A new poll is out this morning that Joe Biden ain’t gonna like. In fact if a reporter asks him about it, he’s likely to go into a dementia rage and start yelling at them like he did the other night.
Here’s the polling news via ABC News:
An overwhelming majority of Americans think President Joe Biden is too old to serve another term, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll.
According to the poll, conducted using Ipsos’ Knowledge Panel, 86% of Americans think Biden, 81, is too old to serve another term as president. That figure includes 59% of Americans who think both he and former President Donald Trump, the Republican front-runner, are too old and 27% who think only Biden is too old.
Sixty-two percent of Americans think Trump, who is 77, is too old to serve as president. There is a large difference in how partisans view their respective nominees — 73% of Democrats think Biden is too old to serve but only 35% of Republicans think Trump is too old to serve. Ninety-one percent of independents think Biden is too old to serve, and 71% say the same about Trump.
Concerns about both candidates’ ages have increased since September when an ABC News/Washington Post poll found that 74% of Americans thought Biden — the oldest commander in chief in U.S. history — was too old to serve another term as president, and 49% said the same about Trump.
86 percent, up from 74, say Biden is too old to serve. Yeah, he’s definitely not going to like this. Obviously people have been paying attention to the news where Biden recounts talking to dead people and, of course, the special counsel report revealing Biden’s mental acuity issues.
This is bolstered by the fact that Hillary Clinton is calling Biden’s age a ‘legitimate issue’ for voters:
Former First Lady Hillary Clinton said she believes President Biden’s age is a “legitimate” campaign issue even as the commander-in-chief is under fire over a damning special counsel’s report accusing him of being senile.
“I talked to people in the White House all the time, and you know, they know it’s an issue, but as I like to say, ‘look, it’s a legitimate issue,’” Clinton told MSNBC’s Alex Wagner earlier this week. “It’s a legitimate issue for [ex-President Donald] Trump who’s only three years younger, right? So it’s an issue.”
The difference between Biden and Trump on the issue of age is that, when Biden was 77 and running for president he was spouting absolute gibberish nonsense on the campaign trail. While Trump has made a few mistakes, he hasn’t done anything close to that and appears much sharper.
