Hurricane Idalia caused a 100 year-old oak tree to fall on the governor’s mansion in Tallahassee.

From the photo it appears the massive tree didn’t fall on the main part of the mansion, but rather a building to one side.

Casey DeSantis said that she and her children were in the residence but that everyone is safe and no one was hurt:

From the looks of it the tree was split in two. I’m not even sure how that could happen but it did and it’s pretty amazing to behold.
