Former president Donald Trump won the Missouri Republican presidential caucus Saturday over rival candidate Nikki Haley.
Trump won the Missouri caucus at 12:40 p.m. eastern time, the Associated Press called soon after results began to come in. Missouri is one of three states holding Republican contests today, alongside Idaho and Michigan. Earlier in the week, Trump won a partial victory in the Michigan primary, and the rest of the state’s delegates will be decided on Saturday.
The victory adds further momentum to Trump’s campaign and extends his winning streak against Haley and the rest of the GOP field. Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee after winning Iowa, New Hampshire, and other early states.
The former president is expected to win big on Super Tuesday when over a dozen states hold Republican primary elections.
