Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign has hired Corey Lewandowski, the presumptive GOP nominee’s 2016 campaign manager, to advise the national party’s 2024 delegate and convention process, National Review has exclusively learned — adding another loyal Trump ally to the mix ahead of the GOP’s convention this summer in Milwaukee.
“He’s very helpful to me, and he’s helpful to the RNC, and he’s helpful to the president,” Trump’s campaign adviser Chris LaCivita told NR.
The 2024 hire marks a return for Lewandowski back into Trump’s orbit after he was pushed out of his role advising a pro-Trump super PAC, Make America Great Again Action, in 2021 over negative headlines surrounding accusations from a donor’s wife.
Lewandowski did not immediately respond to a request for comment from NR.
This is a developing story.
