French senators have published a report on so-called gender transitions for minors and are proposing to ban the practice. The European Conservative reports:

A lengthy investigation initiated by centre-right Les Républicains senator Jacqueline Eustache-Brinio has just been made public. It is alarmed by what has been described as “one of the greatest ethical scandals in the history of medicine”—namely sex reassignment in minors, made possible by the administration of puberty blockers and surgery.

This follows the British National Health Service’s doubling down on its ban on puberty blockers for minors. In response to the news, J. K. Rowling tweeted an excerpt from Walter Lord’s A Night to Remember:
