We’ve got one new New Hampshire poll showing Nikki Haley competitive with Trump and on a trajectory consistent with her perhaps winning the primary and another showing Trump displaying near-Iowa-like dominance.
Which to believe? Who knows? If I had to guess, I’d go with the one that shows her gaining. If she were to defeat Trump, that’d be quite the achievement given how unassailable he’s looked for a year. But unless a win shakes something fundamental loose, Haley will have trouble finding territory as favorable to her as New Hampshire elsewhere.
