At last night’s debate, former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley told biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, “Every time I hear you, I feel a little bit dumber.”

Yet, as has been observed, the blurb Haley wrote for Ramaswamy’s book Woke Inc. (2021), which appears on the back of his latest book, Capital Punishment (2023), praises his “combination of honesty, intellect, and foresight.”
