I’ve gotten a bit of a reputation as a “nerd” around these parts, what with all my articles about Lord of the Rings and Dune. But one nerd rabbit hole I have not gone down is Warhammer 40,000, a miniature wargame (and assorted spin-off products) with a bonkers, far-future setting inspired by Dune and Lord of the Rings, among other works. (Though maybe I’ll go down that rabbit hole when the movie comes out.)

For now, all that matters to me is the number: 40,000. In dollars, that is the amount supporters of our ongoing webathon gave . . . yesterday. That’s right: In one day alone, those of you who appreciate our standing athwart media lies on abortion and the 1619 Project, our bold insistence on telling the truth about the Covid lab leak and transgenderism, indicated the extent of your generosity to the tune of $40,000.

I’d say I couldn’t be more grateful, but NR readers always seem to find ways to proving me wrong on this score. So, if you find it within yourself, please give to our webathon. And we’ll continue to (war?)hammer away at the lies and keep fighting for the truth.
