Emergency personnel had to rush to the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg today when an envelope containing what the NYPD is describing as “suspicious white powder” was delivered. The envelope, an unidentified law-enforcement source tells Fox News, contained a note saying, “Alvin – I’ll kill you.”
The envelope was postmarked Tuesday.
Fox says the envelope was “deemed non-hazardous.” An aggressive investigation is underway, as it should be. I am not going to jump to conclusions. . . . Let’s find out what happened and who did it. That said, Phil’s earlier post hit the nail on the head. Former President Trump’s rhetoric is despicable, including the most recent ranting (days after the letter was apparently sent). He has a responsibility to use his influence to tone things down, not jack them up.
