I have no idea if this is true, but it doesn’t sound all that implausible: “Israeli source confirms the report from Iran International that has obtained information from a Western intelligence source, according to which Khamenei has been removed from making key decisions due to his poor mental state, and military commanders are hiding the reality of the war from him in order to manage his mental state.”

Hiding the reality of the war from Ayatollah Ali Khamenei huh? That must be challenging.

“What’s all that racket outside?”

“Uh, it’s just demolition work, they’re putting up a new strip mall next door.”

“Wait, who are you people? What happened to everyone I know in my war cabinet?”

“Uh… Supreme Leader, we’ve got a… terrible flu bug going around, all your war cabinet is home sick today. They’re probably going to be out for a while. A long, long while.”

As mentioned in today’s Morning Jolt, Ayatollah Khamenei is 86, four years older than Joe Biden.

Come on, Biden cabinet. If the Iranians can remove their leader from making key decisions due to his poor mental state, why couldn’t you?
