Readers of National Review are familiar with Félix Maradiaga. He is a democracy leader from Nicaragua, and an extraordinary man. I first wrote about him in 2019 (here). From June 8, 2021, until two weeks ago, he was imprisoned. The prison was El Chipote, in Managua, a place whose very name has long sparked dread in the hearts of Nicaraguans.
