


National Review is seeking a creative, experienced, and hard-charging editor to oversee our efforts to attract outside contributors who can offer incisive analysis on a wide range of political and cultural issues from a variety of interesting perspectives. In addition to soliciting compelling content, the role will require working with a team to review submissions, select those that meet our exacting editorial standards, and then prepare them for publication. The ideal candidate will have at least several years of experience; will have a deep understanding of the various strains within the conservative movement; will be an avid reader of political and cultural commentary; will already have a wide network of contacts among a diverse roster of writers; and will have a background in editing copy. The position can be based in either the New York or Washington, D.C., area.
