According to the unofficial results on web site of South Carolina’s Election Commission, in the state’s first congressional district, Nikki Haley finished with 68,088 votes, and Donald Trump finished with 60,756 votes. For winning this congressional district, Haley will have three delegates from South Carolina headed to the GOP convention in Milwaukee in July.

The state’s first district is Nancy Mace’s district, and hugs the southern coast incorporating parts of Charleston, stretching down to Kiawah Island, Beaufort, and Hilton Head Island.

Unfortunately for Haley, Trump won everywhere else, so the state is likely to send 47 Trump delegates to the convention to Haley’s three. The state awards 29 delegates to the statewide winner, and three for each congressional district won. Right now, the Associated Press calculates that Trump has 120 delegates overall, and Haley has 20. Former candidate Ron DeSantis has nine delegates from his share of the vote in Iowa, and Vivek Ramaswamy has three.
