A University of New Hampshire poll, which found DeSantis leading Trump by 12 points in January, now finds Trump leading DeSantis by 20 points in April: 

That’s a big swing against DeSantis. It suggests the 2022 midterm results could only carry him so far without a sustained campaign making the case against Trump and that the Bragg indictment helped Trump.

Of course, DeSantis hasn’t launched his campaign yet, and the previous polls showing him ahead suggest he could retake the lead, as does this finding: “When asked which candidate is their second choice, 30% of likely New Hampshire Republican primary voters choose DeSantis, 14% choose Trump, 10% choose Sununu.”
