Oklahoma voted on Tuesday to reject a ballot initiative that would have legalized recreational marijuana. The state has already legalized medical marijuana but chose not to take it any further. Governor Stitt said he thinks “marijuana is bad for young people” and the “side effects” need to be better understood. No doubt others, including those who were excited about a new stream of tax revenue, were disappointed. But I’m inclined to agree with most Oklahomans.
More drugs? No thanks, we have enough problems already.
