Thursday morning, longtime pro-life activist Mark Crutcher passed away. In 1992, he founded Life Dynamics, a group dedicated to researching and exposing misconduct in the abortion industry. He served as the president of Life Dynamics until his passing. His work inspired pro-life activists Lila Rose and David Daleiden, whose groundbreaking undercover research revealed misconduct and even criminal activity at abortion facilities.
In 1996, Crutcher published the book Lime 5. It is filled with countless anecdotes, dating back to the 1970s, about misconduct by abortion doctors and people who work at abortion facilities. Crutcher vividly tells the stories about women who died or whose lives were irreparably harmed owing to abortion-industry misconduct. I remember reading this book as a college student, and it still has a profound impact on me.
Crutcher is probably best known for producing the film MAAFA 21,which was released in 2009. Thoroughly researched and over two hours in length, it discusses high abortion rates among racial minority groups and provides strong historical evidence that support for legal abortion was rooted in eugenics. At a personal level I always found Mark to be very friendly. He was always eager to assist anyone interested in building a culture of life. He will be missed. R.I.P.
