Do you want to join us at National Review, fighting the good fight for truth, justice, and the American Way? There are many things at which it is still worth yelling stop, and if you’re just getting started in this business, you can be a part of that, and maybe get yourself launched on an adventurous career. (Our current fellows are Kayla Bartsch and Haley Strack; they and prior fellows have made many wonderful contributions.) We don’t need your sword, or your bow, or your axe, but a pen and a keyboard is a good start. In an era of left-wing insanity, right-wing populism, a dangerous world, and a culture shot through with dysfunctions, we’re supposed to be surrounded. There’s never a shortage of targets.

Sponsored by National Review Institute, the annual William F. Buckley Jr. Fellowship in Political Journalism is an exclusive opportunity for two recent college graduates to work as National Review writers and reporters for a one-year term, which is renewable up to an additional year. This is a full-time position. The deadline is now just nine days away.

Here’s How to Apply:

Applications are due by January 31. The fellowship begins in May or June, depending on availability. Interested applicants must send a cover letter, current résumé, recommendation from an employer or professor, current transcript (unofficial acceptable), and a writing sample. The cover letter should explain the applicant’s education, work, other activities, and future goals as they relate to National Review. In other words, “Why you and why National Review?” Applications should be sent to info@nrinstitute.org. For more information about the National Review Institute’s journalism fellowships, click here.
